This exciting programme will encourage development of new life skills over a series of three terms of innovative and creative dance and music based workshops. Experienced, professional tutors will lead weekly sessions for ages 10-12 and 13-14 in mixed media workshops which will include street dance, MC and DJ, music production and performance. During the three terms of workshops participants will be given the opportunity to participate, plan and produce outcomes; on completion of each course participants will receive accreditation for new skills learned and certification for creative achievements.
Each term of six workshops will end with a demonstration of achievements the participants for an invited audience of friends and family, and local community members.
“I’m delighted that Northwood Community Arts are providing this project. The high standard of tuition which the participants will receive during this programme makes it especially exciting and will utilise the great facilities which are available for all young people in Northwood”.
